Desperation vs. Wetting in webcams [was "sky: error in webcam diary"]

Thanks for updating the Webcam Diary :) .

But there are a few errors (at least one of which will cause the countdown to be wrong in a few weeks). :o You may want to correct these:
Show on Sun 9 Aug has disappeared. It may have been moved to Tue 18 Aug, but the text of that says it was moved from Apr (not Aug).
Lotta's show on Sun 13 Sep has been entered twice.
The show after 27 Sep is shown as on 3 Sep. Should this be 3 Oct, or is it in the wrong place? This will cause the countdown to show wrongly after 29 Aug if uncorrected.
No shows are shown as desperation. Should any be marked?

Show on Sun 9 Aug has disappeared. It may have been moved to Tue 18 Aug, but the text of that says it was moved from Apr (not Aug).

That is in fact correct: Nicki's show was moved (from April) to Aug 18. The end result is no webcam on 8 or 9 Aug, and instead two webcams the week after that (16 and 18 Aug).

(To cut a long story short, Nicki's show was in fact originally moved from April to 9 Aug, but a little while later had to be moved again to the currently-shown date, by which time the show with Amber (2 days earlier) was already booked. But the second change occurred before the first change had been listed in the diary.)


Lotta's show on Sun 13 Sep has been entered twice.

Just an observation, if I may. The reason you don't see me at webcams anymore is because it seemed to me they had all become "desperation specials." I'm not saying desperation fans shouldn't be served - they should. But for those of us not into desperation, sitting through three hours of holding to see two or three wettings can be numbingly boring. How about an occasional "wetting special" featuring a model known to be capable of five or more wettings in a show?

The desperation v wetting debate is never ending. Perhaps sky should arrange for an on-line vote for members so that the ratio of desperation/wetting shows provided is based upon clearly demonstrated preference.

Bloom's point is well-made. It is also one of the reasons why I no longer attend so many shows. We had the debate as coutrylad suggests, came to an equitable solution that would satisfy most parties... and Sky has not done it.

To recap, the conclusion was that there should be a roughly equal mix of three types of show:
Wetting - with as many wettings as the model can manage.
Mixed - as most are now, with one hold and the rest wettings.
Desperation - holding as long as possible each time.

Having virtually each show a mix satisfies very few.

And of the models who are currently booked, does anyone have any preferences at to which should have which type of show?

Just so you know, I would prefer to have the "desperation special" shows allocated as such and to allow the remaining shows to concentrate on panty wetting.

Part of the problem, as things stand at the moment, is that during the show, the model does her best to respond to the feedback from the room. The feedback she gets is "hold till 8 p.m." "try to hold on longer" "no you can't go yet", and then just when a wetting is becoming a physical anavoidable inevitability, she gets "do it with panties pulled aside". She responds accordingly. I've tried saying to models "ok, the main thing in any live show is to interact and respond. But by the way, ignore what they say in the room." It makes no sense and causes the model to get confused and lose confidence.

So I agree the only way to improve the situation for everyone - holdit lovers, holdit dislikers, and holdit agnostics alike - is to have shows set out for each, and I guess the 3 way split is as good a start as any.

So starting with the upcoming shows, here are my thoughts:

Amber - desp [= long desperations with wetting only when they can't hold on any more]

Nicki - wetting + desp [ = multiple wetting with generally some attempts at desperation, knowing that the model is one who can never hold on long]

Summer Lee - wetting + desp

Natalia X - wetting + desp

Samantha - desp

Lotta - wetting + desp

Chantel - unknown quanity - wetting+desp on debut

Frenchie - wetting only

Mystiq - not sure which category is best

In addition, when we book Hannah, hers could be a desperation special.

Specifying the type of show each time is a good idea although the wetting + desperation category needs to be clarified. I would suggest an initial desperation then as many wettings as the model can manage.
As far as your list goes sounds fine to me although I would suggest making Lotto a desperation show as that seems to be her 'thing'. Perhaps change Samantha to wetting + desperation to compensate. Hannah is good at desperation and if Nicky O returns I suggest a desperation show. Incidentally how is Nicky O? - I miss her.

Hi Sky,

I like your idea except I disagree with Countrylad on his comments. I think you should make Nicky O's shows pure wetting shows if she ever comes back because I think that is her thing. I also think the wetting and desperation shows should start out with a wetting and then go for a long period of desperation and then continue on with the rest of the show being wetting. I also don't agree with CountryLad on his placement of Samantha and Lotta. I like yours better.

Whatever! You'll probably get as many different opinions as there are members. I am happy to leave it to sky provided the shows are identified and there is a fair spread of each type. He knows his models and what they prefer.
