I would like to clarify something before you storm out of here.

I did not, nor has anyone else, call you sad. I called the practice of fearing the absolute worst about one's online activities getting revealed sad. Larry made a good point in saying that you haven't been here as long as we have, so you would have less reason to trust the site and its moderator than we do. And I will say that four years ago when I first started posting, registering with a site was a big step and took some courage, so I could understand how a newcomer would need time to feel better about a new group. Just understand that I was not calling you sad...just the spreading theory that there is some net watching gorup out there who exist to spread your personal information around and embarrass you.

It seems that people have personalized everything too much...and that attitude has begun to limit the power of the internet to bring the world true freedom of speech, which is what it's all about.

I'm sorry you took offense at my calling this fear sad...it was not meant as a personal insult to you...or to anyone...I was not meaning sad as in pathetic...I was meaning sad as in distressing.

I think it would be helpful if you and everyone else avoided criticising other posters unless they DEFINITELY ask for it - by for example requesting pictures of children. It is inevitable that some people feel nervous or insecure when they come here and it is so easy to upset them with a careless phrase.

OK - I suppose I have just broken that rule by criticising you images/smiles/icon_smile.gif so let me say that I am sure you did not mean to be hurtful.
