To all members of the Wetting Her Panties (http://www.wettingherpanties.com) site: the chat room which accompanies the Webcam streaming is complete and ready for use.

I'd be grateful if members could please try it out and let me know of any bugs. In order to use the chat room, please visit the following address:

http://media.skymouse-productions.com/media/index.html

This takes you to the page for the chat room and webcam. You'll need to create a Screen Name -- this is the human-friendly nickname that you will use when you log in to the room. A link is given on the page to a mechanism for creating a Screen Name.

To keep all messages relating to testing the chat room together, please post all (non-confidential) messages as replies in this thread.

Hey Skymouse.

I went to the chat page and attempted to log in and it told me my member password was incorrect...and KNOW this isn't the case...(I have a password I know I'll never forget, so it can't be wrong...I tied it three times)...

Hopefully you know what might be causing the problem and we can remedy the situation before the 21st.

Thanks in advance.

I tried it in the explorer and it seemed to work... till I clicked the Mediaplayer button. I know that doesn't work yet, but I clicked it anyway. It caused an error and my puter rebooted. Hmmm. PS, according to my info Mediaplayer 7.01 is the latest version, not 7.1 (?)

I also tried it in Netscape and that worked OK as long as I kept both "volano" windows on the screen. I closed the first one and the connection went away. I also found out that in my firewall I have to put the browser on "access trusted" otherwise the applet won't load. One other thing... the login box had a white background and so did the character color. So I couldn't see what I was typing.

Regarding the GMT time... The daylight savings confused me for a minute. I thought GMT was the same as the time in London. But that's at the moment not true. To find out what GMT means for you, you can go to http://greenwichmeantime.com/info/time.htm and that page will tell you what the time difference is between you and GMT. Make sure that your computer clock is set OK.

11PM GMT is at the moment 12AM (midnight) in London and 1AM in central Europe.

Thanks for the testing.

jims285 - it sounds as though you ended up at the home page for the media site. Please could you retry, by going directly to:

http://media.skymouse-productions.com/media/index.html

and let me know what happens this time.

quietpr - did you successfully create a screen name before trying to log in, and if so, did you use the screen name when trying to log in to the chat room (which is what one needs to do)?

Ger - The latest version of Media Player is 7.1, maybe that is the reason for your crash (earlier version?).

Hmm, the login box is supposed to be the same reddy-purple colour as the surrounding background, and the white text shows up well with this background colour. It soudns as though your computer's version of java is ignoring background colours -- I will try to get round this by choosing a text colour that works in both cases.

The scheduled starting time is 23:00 GMT, which is midnight BST (British Summer Time) -- the times in the UK are currently one hour different from GMT.

Ok, I have altered the login boxes, the surrounding colours, and the font colour, in such a way that it should be visible on all kinds of computer. (The problem seems to have been that different Javas display text boxes using different background colours.)

I´ve been successfully creating a screen name and was also able to enter the chat room and to write something there. So not problems at all.
P.s.: Did you get my email yet, Sky???

I guess it's the media player that says 7.01 itself. I have the latest version, no upgrades available. I even downloaded the 7.1 version, but in the player itself it keeps saying 7.01. Ah well.

Is it normal that when I press the "Click here to start the Webcam in Media Player" I now get a page that doesn't excist error? At the same moment the connection to the chat window disconnects.

For the rest... chat window works fine. I talked to myself for 5 minutes images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Update: I chatted also with someone else. So that works fine too.

To Skymouse. There was no one in the chatroom when I went back later, but I tried on OSX and that did not work at all. I could only get to the introductory screen, and when I clicked on enter chat my machine locked up. It did this twice. However, I went back to 9.2 and I now have Win Med Player 7.0 for the Mac, so I tried the live cam option with it running, but still no joy. I tried opening live.asx from Media Player and the words under the screen for the picture did come up with connecting, but after a few seconds I got an error message which said "The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect"

I dont know if this helps.

THanks Sky...it was unclear to me that I had to do the screen-name first since its link was to the right of the longin link (I work from left to right usually)...but thanks for clarifying that...it now works fine...

Looking forward to the 21st!

Ger - yes, it seems version "7.01" and "7.1" are Microsoft's two different names for the same thing.

Anna - I didn't see your email yet, but will check again. Hope all is well, and I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to your next wet session here!

crazyhorse - that error message sounds like it may be as expected for this situation (with no show currently in progress). Soon I will have a video loop running so everyone can test the media player.

I got the following error message when I tried to create my screen name:

Error Diagnostic Information
ODBC Error Code = 22001 (String data right truncation)
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]String or binary data would be truncated.
The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of (CFQUERY), occupying document position (79:1) to (79:37).

Remote Address: 80.8.74.31
HTTP Referer: http://media.skymouse-productions.com/media/add_sn.html

I tried a lot of screen names and got this message every time, what does that mean ?

Hi Starburst, that error message was because there was previously a limit of sixteen characters length for the Screen Name, and you typed a longer name.

The maximum length for a Screen Name has now been increased to 30 characters, so it should work ok now for the Screen Name you were trying to create.
