I'm a devoted pants wetter and a sometime bed wetter. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what would be the best and quickest way for me to get used to sleeping in a wet bed. You see, right now I don't wet my bed every night. I just can't seem to get comfortable laying in a wet bed. And I would like to be comfortable laying in a wet bed. I would love to get myself to the point where I don't feel comfortable in a dry bed, where I wet my bed every night, do my morning pee in bed every morning, etc. I just can't seem to get past the discomfort of laying in a wet bed. And I want to, badly. I suppose one solution would be to just simply start constantly wetting my bed, and force myself to get used to it. I was just wondering if there are some other, creative solutions out there that you may have come up with. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Drink lots of water or any prefered drink before going to bed. About 2 quarts works for me. If it wakes you up in the middle of the night concentrate on sleeping, not wetting.

I'm opposite of you, I wet intentionally, not by accident, mostly. I don't mind the accidential times at all, but I like to plan bed wetting.

Thanks for your help WD12, much appreciated. I should say though that I do not necessarily want to be an accidental bed wetter, although night time incontinence wouldn't bother me at all. I wet my bed intentionally, and I would like to be able to start wetting my bed constantly, peeing in it when I first get in it at night, wetting in my sleep during the night, and intentionally doing my morning pee when I wake up in the morning. And I would like this to become a nightly routine for. I just have to get comfortable sleeping and laying in a soaked bed. I really want to get past this stupid discomfort of mine. I want to get to the point where I love sleeping in a soaked bed and it just doesn't feel right to sleep in a dry bed. Perhaps you or someone else out there have some insights into how this can be achieved. Thanks again for your help.

It is uncomfortable sleeping in a cold wet bed.
I can only suggest you get a wider bed, so you can move to the other side!

I know that the few times I've tried openly wetting my bed and forcing myself to stay in it and try to sleep I've had trouble staying asleep for long periods because it starts to get clammy and unpleasant. I think though that it wouldn't do this if I kept it under me as much as possible and made sure I stayed covered by a quilt or blanket. I also think you could benefit if thisi s problem from starting out for a while by wearing overnight protective underwear...it will leak some but you won't feel it as much, and what's right on your skin will stay warm most of the night...once you get used to that, moving on to a fully wet bed shouldn't be too hard.

Strange, I’ve never had a problem sleeping in a wet bed. Quite the opposite. What specific aspect of a wet bed bothers you? If it’s coldness, you might try a plastic sheet between your top sheet and blanket. This will minimize cooling yielding a delightfully warm, steamy bed – like sleeping in a head to foot diaper and plastic pant.
