I read an article that a guy held it in for too long and tore the outer lining of his bladder. Now he had to have surgery to they could re-attach the lining to the lower abdominal wall.

Keep looking. I reckon you'll find more wriggling and holding desperation than straight spread legs and go. I love holding it, I like the challenge and the feeling is great. Unlike some men here I don't like masturbating or having sex with a full bladder, for some reason it seems to make the sexual feelings less intense.

I once held it for 24 hours with normal intake, but it was a real struggle for the last few hours! Once at a festival I also held it for probably around 30 hours without difficulty, but I reduced my liquid intake a lot.

Another area of remarkable variation, especial among women. I knew a woman who liked three cups of tea with dinner. After dinner, she’s had to pee every 40 minutes for two and a half hours. I’ve known two women who put 24 plus hours between pees with little or no complaint. Another woman could do some serious beer partying and not get interested in peeing until she woke the next morning.

As I said the 30 hours was with drastically reduced liquid intake - judging by the problems I had holding for 24 hours I reckon it'd be practically impossible with normal intake.

I remember seeeing somewhere (Thomas' site?) that someone reckoned you could classify bladders on the dimensions small-large and weak-strong, so someone with a large but weak bladder wouldn't get the urge for a long time, but would have to go almost as soon as they did.

I think that could account for a lot of the variation we observe - but it should also be considered that people's ideas of "desperate" might vary, with some people being willing to struggle for longer than others. In the case of Stanley's girl, presumably she had a small bladder and gave in to her urges easily - we couldn't really know the strength of her bladder until she had a situation where she wasn't able to go as often as usual.

I wish someone would do a scientifically controlled study into the biological and psychosocial factors influencing people's peeing habits, but sadly I suppose it's not a matter of too much concern for most of the population!

I remember a time where I was forced to hold it for about 5 hours. I was about 21 and my ex-fiance had stopped by unexpectedly and asked me to go on a driving route with him. He was out of work at the time and was driving a truck from NY to Connecticut to bring in extra cash. I hadn't seen him in almost a year and was still in love with him, even though we had broken our engagement. I gladly accepted his offer to take the drive with him.

It was dark and Bill left the papers and started talking with some of the people there. I knew he'd be a while and I knew I would never be able to hold it till we got back to NY. I had my legs stiff out in front of me and I was pressing my peehole against the seat of the truck.

I thought that if I could just let some out, I might be able to make room in my bladder and make it back to the city. I knew that if I let some out in my jeans the wet spot would show and I couldn't risk that. So, I had some tissues in my pocketbook. I wadded them up and stuck them by my pussy inside my pants and underwear. I saturated the tissues and threw them out the window. That really made it worse, as when I cut off the flow I felt as though I was about to explode. I rummaged through my bag but couldn't find any more tissues. I did find some bank receipts so I wadded them up and stuck them in my pants and began to let a few drops out again. Of course, they didn't absorb, so I cut off the flow again. I went with him on his route one other time. This time the same thing happened, but somehow I was able to hold it without leaking at all. I was even able to walk several blocks in my desperate state. I was never able to hold it like this again. It actually felt like my bladder was going to fall out my pussy, but somehow I knew the pee would not come out. I got home and peed for what seemed like forever.

So, sometimes I can hold very large quantities, and sometimes I just can't.

I know I'm a little late in responding -- I'm new to this board (in fact this is my first post) and I too enjoy "holding it." I love the sensation of a super full bladder and holding on as long as possible. Although my holds aren't very impressive in terms of time or quantity compared to some of the more talented folk mentioned in the archives, I still give it my best effort, and have recently been working on bladder training to hopefully increase my strength and capacity.

I also enjoy desperation in others (male or female) as long as they are in the position voluntarily, or have the option of an "out." I'm definitely not into humiliation or embarassment, and wetting should be left to those who want to be in that position.

I don't find wetting much of a turn-on for myself, though I can appreciate why others might enjoy it. For myself, I prefer the intensity of a punishing hold of a fairly large amount of water consumed in a relatively short amount of time and the immense relief when I finally do reward myself with a trip to the toilet after holding on for what seems like ages, and then waiting "just 15 minutes" more...

I've noticed, too that since I discovered some of the online chats that it's much easier to hold a punishing amount of liquid in my bladder while I'm sitting around chatting with others who are holding on, too. It seems that when someone else is sharing their struggles to hold on, and I am sharing mine, that the desperation is somewhat easier to bear.

At any rate, I think there area lot of people who are into "holding it" on many of the WS boards, and I know I for one would like to hear some of your stories of holding on and the things you do to keep control of a super full bladder.

...my current record is 24 hours 20 minutes...so yes...30 is possible for some rare people.

I can't do that anymore thanks to my water pill for early onset hypertension...it's genetic...and it kills any chance I have for long holds...but what it does do is allow me to produce truly COPIOUS volume. :) My record there is 49 ounces.

I had a customer in her mid twenties a nurse ,she was openly talking about working Emergency and the nurses all rush to the ladies when they hear an ambulance come as they do not know how long they will have to wait to get an oportunity to go again.
