Hi all

I don’t think I’ve seen any comments so far on this subject, but has anyone noticed how in music videos, particularly those for dance and RnB, some members of the band, or even more often the backing dancers, seem to spend a whole lot of their time with their hands in intimate places?

Now this isn’t desperation at all I know, but it looks very similar, and I have to confess that seeing an attractive female in tight shorts or jeans feeling themselves has a very similar effect on me!

I don’t know exactly when this became the norm, but now that I’ve started looking, you can barely go 15 minutes on a music channel without seeing something.

P.S. Guys do it even more often than girls (particularly on rap records), but that just doesn't happen to be my thing.

Anyone else noticed?

You know, I was just thinking about this today. I never watch MTV but I stumbled across a video where the girl had nothing to do but hold her crotch. I think this might be some kind of throw back to Michael Jackson from a few years ago.

Heck, I'm all for sexy girls in tight jeans holding themselves.

This has been going on since the birth of MTV in 1981 and is was done in many a rock video not only dance. I do not watch as much MTV today so it is interesting if to me that it is in mainly dance music today.
