Yes indeed, more problems.
When I try to start WMP 9 for the webcam, I get "The server, a computer set up to offer multimedia content to other computers, could not handle your request for multimedia content in a timely manner. Please try again later."
WMP 9 is my default player for playing videos, so why won't it play webcam shows? The webcam works fine on WMP 7. Does anyone have any answers?

I'm communicating with Grant by e-mail to try to investigate and solve this and also the other problem with AUdio CDs.

While logged in, here is an update on this one too. Grant had several trojans on his computer that were popping up menus etc and, more importantly here, using up his bandwidth. He is still trying to remove them fully so, until this has been done, it is not possible to determine whether the web cam is OK in Windows Media Player 9 for him or not. I suspect that it will be and the problems were elsewhere on Grant's computer, not caused by WMP once re-installed (after which it played audio CDs OK) and certainly not caused by Skymouse's set up or his ISP.

Interesting: I recently changed my anti-virus (now using Sophos) and found three nasty little b******s myself. I hadn't noticed any problems in webcam, but I WAS getting an awful lot of spam.
Previously, I'd been using McCaffee, with regular updates. Just goes to show, even when you think you're taking precautions - I'm using a firewall too - you can get burnt.
