Peeing in Pants

I gave it a try last weekend and attempted to photograph the result.
The camera would not flash when making multiple images so I set up reflectors to diffuse sunlight up.
The camera was strategically positioned and I had a remote controller to say go. Only I couldn't. First I was hopping and rushed round getting the gear set up and aligned. I had drunk lots of water and there was a lot of feeling but when I posed not a drip!
Sqeeze it out I thought and a nice wet patch was caught on camera. I felt nice below but not the gusher I had hoped for. Then the sun had moved round too far and my good illumination was gone.
Anyone else noticed this problem?

Later that evening no problem with a gusher and it felt good and no hands.

I can relate to what you are saying. There have been times when, like you, I have tried to take some self-peeing-portraits...and have been so deperate that nothing seemed to go right. I can remember kicking over the tripod more than once while trying not to gush prematurely. And one time I actually did lose it before I could get back in front of the camera. What a waste of a good wetting!

I think it would be much preferable to have a mate to share the picture-taking with. My search for such goes on.....

I think the problem comes from being too tense. This causes all muscles to tighten and no pee to appear. Unfortunately, trying to relax while knowing that there is only a short time before the camera takes a picture just makes it worse. I wonder if there is some kind of remote control you could use, so that you could sit in front of the camera for as long as you like, but only press the button to operate the shutter when you can feel the pee emerging.

Otherwise, practice is the only way...or get a camcorder and just record everything, then edit out the bits where nothing happens.

Try the main wetting board and ask someone like Kate if she has any tips on how to do it. I'm sure you will get a sensible response. :)

What a shame! I'd gladly come and photograph you anytime...and i don't mind waiting for hours either.! If you drink something slightly acid like orange juice with plenty of water, and something else like alcohol to relax you...just wait and see. Also don't get too hot: the colder you are, the more you'll need to pee and it will come hot and fast.
