View Full Version : Paula Radcliffe in the London Marathon

This has got me SOO wound up....

I read on the BBC website that in the London Marathon yesterday (17 April) Paula Radcliffe had to 'empty her bladder by the side of the road in the 22nd mile'. Now like most men and several women I know I fancy Paula Radcliffe something rotten, due not only to her gorgeous looks but also to those adorable nylon lycra running knickers she usually wears, and the thought of her pissing in public is a turn-on of truly galactic proportions. Did she literally piss in the gutter? If so, did she at least get a 'modesty shield' courtesy of the various race marshals, cops, journalists and other hangers-on who attend a marathon and the lead runner in particular? Did she even - down, boy! - piss straight through her gorgeous light blue Nike knickers? They would after all have been getting damp with sweat by then (and long before). Now when she passed me at Mile 23 I saw no obvious signs of leakage but then I didn't seriously expect to see any and even though I was looking vaguely in that direction I reckon with knickers that colour (and shiny) it wouldn't have been obvious unless one looked hard.

I guess it goes without saying that I'm kicking myself for not being a mile or so 'upstream' but apart from that pointless regret, does anyone have any information? Even, hope against hope, pictures?

Didn't see any sign of other female wetting, by the way (you sometimes do at marathons) but it was a nice day and lots of fit birds in running gear did nothing to spoil it! Ditto for women looking at men, if the comments of the two girls standing near me were anything to go by.

I'd suggest adding this to the thread below rather than starting another one on the same topic.
