Fixed: Not sure if message board login is working ...

Thanks Kate! WT also says he can't log in.

I'm checking to see what needs to be fixed. I can see all the usernames are there in the database (including WT, Leahfl1976 and several thousand more) but some parts of the system aren't picking them up (including the Members List and, it seems, the login.)

Hopefully I'll have it fixed soon.

Sky has brought me back to life!!! I had a different userid (WT) from username (Wet Trousers) from the original Board software, before the last one (PHP). Any other old timers who had a short id tot type to login and a nice display name may be similarly wiped out (we get chopped into two database records! :o ). The login goes with the longer name rather than the id you used up until yesterday (if you remember it) but, for me, that login didn't work even with the correct password... :(

So far, I have noticed a few problems. I will list them over the weekend if they are not fixed. Meanwhile, I am reporting them to Sky.

I have also had to delete the first spam!!! :-((((

Once I remembered who I was and what my password was, everything went smoothly. :p Ta for re-instating the avatars, let's hope they don't get abused like they did last time.

I'll not comment further on the appearance until Sky's had a chance to get it more settled...

Once I remembered my password I had no trouble getting in at all. Still haven't found the B for Bold button, but enjoying looking for it all the same.

As I put in the board comments, poor Frodo is having problems, apparently with software not the login. :( I have asked him for more details in case it is something that Sky should look at... :arrow:

The email problem is fixed. Anybody who can't login should please use the Lost Password (http://www.wetbbs.com/forums/login.php?do=lostpw) facility.

Anybody who tried to register but didn't get their activation email should use the Re-send activation email (http://wetbbs.com/forums/register.php?do=requestemail) facility.
