Okay, for once my seniority has some legs.
It's a joy to be ganged with the elite, but I miss the mice!
So what are the new levels of advancement? Do I have anything to strive for beyond my Seniority? Expiring minds want to know!!

I've just said the same thing on his sticky announcement! I can't get tyhis 'advanced' reply thing though. It disappears when I actually press a reply button and tells me to press one if I don't. Also, the old emoticons everywhere were more fun.

Maybe just one of those things still to be fixed. Hope so. I enjoy my Mouse Status (though I can think of a thousand things more worth getting worked up about)!
Give the man time and let's see.

Yes, those are all things that will work again once I get the right settings entered. Re-mousification will occur soon. Also, there are several different kinds of reply and new-message windows, and I can control what kinds of things appear in each scenario - I need to go through the options and tweak them. Same thing goes for which stuff appears when you click a member's username, or view a profile, etc.
The smilies are a bit mixed up, but I know what needs to be done to fix that :-)

To help, I am creating a list of known issues in the announcement of the board software change. I have also merged these comments into the new thread that I created from posts replying to the new board software announcement, so that I could use that for an issues list. Phew! Now I need a break before I watch the webcam...

Sky, please please please get rid of the massive yellow box that opens next to your cursor and contains the first paragraph of the message while you're hovering over the list of topics, it's infuriating and distracting and it's already driven me mad after 1 day.

Re: Avatar
At times it feels like I certainly have a 'senior member'. It's an age thing.

Never mind, Ooze. It'll soon be reduced to a mouse size again, and then it'll be too small to notice... :-P

Val,
Click the Post Reply button, don't use Quick Reply. That should open a window with formatting options shown and icons (now looks like Sky has fixed them).
It used to have 2 options and you had to pick guided, but that seems to have disappeared, so it looks like Sky set it to the option where it should all show. You might have to try again now, because it did something different this morning.
All present and correct except 'oops' which clashes with :~o
Now I'm going to see if Sky also increased the maximum number of icons...
 :?: :o 8)
...[edited] nope! Looks like the limit is 6 including the signature (I would put a crying smiley here but it won't let me!!!)

There be something I do be a-missing there do be! I answered on another thread because something else I've noticed, not all unread are coming up bold, so I assumed this unchanged since I last saw it. Wot are not the cases!
