Board is not sending emails, including those to confirm registrations.

The mail system and/or PHP email directives seems to be wrongly configured. My ISP promised to have it working "within the next 15 minutes" on friday afternoon, but they went home for the weekend.

I have not logged in for a very long time, due to various reasons. Seeing the new outfit of the board, I made the attempt top to log in, but obviously I did not remember my password correctly. Then I tried to "order" my password by entering my email-address, and was told that an email had been sent to me with my password. I even repeated this, thinking there had been some error before, but I never received that email. In the meantime, fortunately, I found a very old entry in some scratch-book which turned out to be my good old password, so I could log in now. That is why I can write this email. Otherwise I would not even be able to inform you that the problem mentioned in this thread is NOT FIXED.

Hi Pit, I've just tested the lost password system, and it definitely seems to be working fine. Perhaps when you registered you used a different email address to your present one. Either way, I'm glad you found your old details :)
