Default for posts listed

New, priority: medium. Is the default view for Off-topic set to something other than From The Beginning? All the posts seem to disappear and users had to change the option to see tham again. For me, the technical boards also show one month and I'm sure that I didn't set that. By contrast, the main wetting board seems to be from the beginning automatically. If it's selectable, maybe set all boards to default to from the beginning sorted by descending last post time (ie, latest at the beginning).
