Unread Indicator Fails (Sometimes)

Usually when I first log in to the message board, new messages and those that have received replies since my last login are highlighted with an open envelope icon on the left. Occasionally, maybe on about 1 out of 5 logins, this fails to happen. For example, yesterday I logged in and there were 7 threads that had received replies since my last login, but none were highlighted and all had a closed envelope icon. I identified them because I noticed the order had changed since my last login. This morning, unread messages and replied-to threads were flagged as unread as they should be. Has anyone else noticed this? Why does this mechanism occasionally fail?

Thanks Bloom, I hadn't noticed this peculiarity, but will look out for it and see if I can work out what's happening.

Oooops! :whoops: I had noticed this and had an old-age moment rather than putting it on the list... :shock: :roll: It's not just Val but, as he says, it's not that much of an issue... 8)
