Hey, is anyone watching that Channel 4 show, "Space Cadets"? They just made the wannabe-space tourists dress up in adult nappies underneath skin-tight lycra suits. Not exactly my sort of thing, but some of you might be interested in the idea of a bunch of moronic guys and girls prancing around in nappies and trying to pee in them to "see what it feels like"...
It definitely put a smile on my face.

LOL missed that. They're so dumb.
" ... and when you wet the nappies, the invisible energy created by the wetting is what keeps the craft in orbit."
"Oh really."
"Oh, That's interesting."
"Okay. I'll bear that in mind."

You know, I wondered if they would try something like that, but the program format was so silly that I didn't watch any more episodes. That is a pity - did any of them succeed in wetting their nappies?
I guess something like that must happen for real in astronaut training - I mean, some people actually have difficulty wetting themselves at first even when they want to - so I assume astronauts must have to do it.
"Roger Houston, we have a wet daiper" <<Beep>>
"Copy that - and in-suit telemetry data confirms that."

You know what would make a great Skymouse vid? A girl getting trained to be an astronaught and the trainer talks about the difficulty of releasing in a nappy - kind of along the lines of "because you're doing it in the suit, it feels almost like wetting your pants; if you imagine me asking you to wet your pants right now, you'd have difficulty..." and somehow the dialogue gets her around to trying it in whatever she's wearing.
How about it, Sky?

The very first AMerican I think, used pills but John Glenn's sub-orbital was delayed for hourse and when he asked what to do, Houston did say "OK do it in the suit"> What if they had refused :?

They DID refuse at first - but well, when you gotta go, you gotta go, and there was NO way they were going to scrub that flight!

I saw that Space Cadets programme Saturday night while I was waiting for Angelica's show to start.
I think that one of the men did actually wet his space suit.
The women in their lycra suits and "nappies" didn't look too atractive though.
