View Full Version : Anyone else having trouble with this Board (Mon night)?

This Board seems to be responding to me about one time in six when I click a link or a button. The rest of the time, it times out without responding and gives the standard Server Not Found / DNS error. :bang:
Maybe it caught the bug that the member video download server had yesterday (which now seems to be fixed)?! :(
Other web sites in the UK and across the world are responding instantly, so the issue is not my computer, my connection or the Internet in general.
Is anyone else having this probem... and able to reply at the first or even sixth attempt?! :whistling

I have not had that problem......, yet. Maybe your service and host server are the ones that are having the problem ???

Yes, I have had the problem but not that frequently, WT. The last time was a few days ago. When it happens, I usually try again an hour or so later, when I usually find it OK. Another peculiarity: Sometimes I get a "server not responding" error when I click the "Message Board" link on the Index page, but if I immediately go to the home page and click the "Message board and wet links" link there, I get in with no problem.

I noticed yesterday and, I think on Sunday, that pages sometimes took fractionally longer to load than is sometimes the case - but not long enough to cause undue alarm. Occasionally I've gor that DNS server error message when trying to visit some other sites. I don't know what the cause is and I've tended to assume it's just one of those things that happens every now and again.

Tonight it's running like greased lightning!
There must juts have been something wrong with a connection between my ISP and Sky's host at that time yesterday, as all other sites I tried in the UK and abroad were fine.
Thanks for checking Sky, and thanks for responding, eveyone!
