I have managed this just once! You really need to get in contact with someone by email or PM's and built up a bit of trust first. After that maybe a telephone call, and take it from there. Well personally i wouldnt want to meet on a one to one basis but what about a large park somewhere (london over here) and say "lets meet in that park on a particular day and time") that way you could turn up there desperate or wet if you wanted to. or just dry and empty i cant see that been any problem

A few years ago, someone posted on Wetset that he and his wife were going to stage a wetting outside the public toilets of Victoria Train Station, in London, and that anyone available should turn up for the show!

I was young and naive, and wasn't working on the morning in question, so I decided to turn up and see if there was a performance!

Not surprisingly, the couple (If they ever existed!) never turned up. But what was interesting was spotting how many other people from the wetset board were wandering around 'inocently'! I spotted about 3 other people who seemed to be hanging around with no aparent reason to do so. I was there for about 45mins before I gave up, and these 3 other men all seemed to be there for a similar amount of time.

When I got home that evening, I posted on the wetset board the events of the morning, and my observations, and one of the other men there responded, and described what he was wearing, and then what he thought the other 'wait-ers' were wearing. I took objection to his description of my 'scruffy' coat! But there was no doubt that he was describing me.

It was a very odd experience to be so close to people that the only contact you have had with before, was through the complete anonimity of a message board from Australia! Odd, but not actually very exciting. I think that I can say now, with the distance of a number of years, that all the other men just seemed like the typical 'Dirty Mac' brigade to me, (Well I was young then!) and it left me wondering whether the person who had origionally posted the message on the board was watching us all gather from some secret vantage point!

I think that perhaps in the long run, it would just be safer to meet up in the St James' Park of Holly's imagionation! I know that that's where I would prefer to be!:)

There are one or two female members that I'd love to meet some time for a frank discussion, by way of research ... to make my stories more credible, you understand, by giving me a better insight into the female persepective on all this.

But I can't see them being all that keen on emerging from the relative anonymity of an internet message board into the bright daylight of a face to face meeting with somebody that they don't know except over the internet. So I doubt it'll ever happen.

No, I don't still have the 'scruffy' coat. In a moment of irony, it was stolen from my car about a year later, couldn't have been that scruffy!

As to where you could read the comments about the event from the time, well that would be difficult, unless Paul at wetset happens to choose the correct page from his selected archive. It would have been around 2002ish, probably the first part of the year, if I was wearing that coat!

I definately didn't miss the action, as I was sad enough to arrive about 15mins earlier than had been 'advertised'. It was certainly a 'no-show'. Which was a shame!:(

Been wanting to reply to this thread for ages but only just found the time.

The topic of meeting up keeps making an appearance but with apparently very little success except about five years ago when I spotted a thread from aother message board. It was started by someonecalled Susan LD (Loves Desperation) and invited 20 males and 19 females (Susan being the 20th) to a desperation party in North London. The idea being that drinks would be provided but access to the restrooms would not. Apparently she was innundated with requests. Afterwards several participants wrote messages saying what a successful evening it had been. (I copied all of the responses and the emails leading up to this and have posted them on this message board previously).

Last year Realaustream tried to organise something similar and got veryl little interest, and from the responses to this thread, there seems to have been the same reslult. This makes me wonder if Susan's party was real.

It seems that people are very shy about their fetish and prefer to keep it very much behind the anonymity of a screen name. Also, the few responses to realaustream's attempts to organise a party were mostly male.
