What a great couple of pictures on Shara & Ger's site, of the French girl gymnast, peeing herself during a vault. Any idea if there is a video clip of this anywhere?

Yes, the photo is real and has been posted on a number of legitimate gymnastic websites, which is where I actually found the one without the news article. You will notice that the magazine article pic is just the other one mirrored or reversed. As for the writer of the article being one of us, I can't comment!

Yes, I believe it was in Australia, but I didn't see any coverage of it here. I found the pic on quite a number of websites - it just took a yahoo search to find them, based on her name. All of the websites were legit gymnastics sites, so I'm confident the pic is real. I didn't post the link on any of our sites because I didn't think it was appropriate, but the pics are probably still there if you want to search for them. Just put in the name into a yahoo or google search.

Yes, I agree it is most likely a legit photo.

It is a well-known, but little talked about, fact that a significant percentage of women in stress sports have problems with involunatary urine loss under stress conditions.

For example, approximately 20 - 25% of female college atheletes in basketball and volley ball have issues.

These are handled in various ways including pads and leak proof undergarments and keeping the bladder empty. Many female tennis players often work toilet breaks in to long matches to attempt to avoid wetting when straining for a serve or return.

In the US Army about 20 - 40% of females will lose urine when hitting the ground in a parachute exercise. It does not happen for men.

Keep in mind most of these soliders and athelets are young women -- mostly pre-childbearing too.

Its just a fact of life for many women with physical stress.

And, as most know, stress incontinence is the most common type group of "leaking" problems for all women -- of all ages.

The female "control valve", the urthreal sphincter, is simply not as efficient of a system as exists in the male for reasons I have explained in the past. Urine gets past them under stress and pressure.

This is true for most mammalian species -- dogs, cats etc.

I am not complaining!
