View Full Version : Another one of my weird dreams....

I do seem to have very vivid dreams. I have one recurring one where I'm in the house at night all on my own and I go to turn on the light and none of the light switches work. There was one very vivid one that I posted last year, when I was at this posh reception in a country house and I needed a wee, so I dropped my knickers in a rose garden in front of my boss! That was very weird!

We'll here's another one. Last night I went out to the pub with some friends, which has been my first evening out for a week really, because I've been so busy. Anyway to cut a long story short, last night I had a dream that I was in the office, in one of the conference rooms and we had been working late into the evening on some difficult negotiations on behalf of a client. I can't go into detail obviously. I had been in the meeting and it was getting very complex and detailed. There were at least ten other people, mainly blokes and two other colleagues, my boss who's a women and another senior partner. I was trying to take notes and concentrate but it was really hard because I really needed the loo badly and I was holding myself under the table and beginning to jiggle my legs. I wasn't really involved in the discussion in fact I was preoccupied with timing my moment to excuse myself, before I left it too late!

Then all of a sudden I said in a loud voice to everybody "That's it, I'm not going to make it!!!” That's exactly what I said. I can still remember. Everybody looked at me and actually in my dream I felt my face go red and then at the same time I felt myself weeing myself in my knickers. I even felt the trickle and the wetness, it was leaking through my skirt and the seat was getting wet! It was really, really terrible and so vivid! Anyway I woke up with a start and it must have been about 3am. I was bursting for the loo and I was panting and hot. You know how it is when you've had a nightmare. I really wasn't sure if I'd wet the bed or not it was so real. I was wearing a big teashirt and no knickers. I felt the bed and my teashirt but I hadn't and I was dry! Phew........so I just got up and went to the loo!

My dreams are so weird. I guess that it was making me wake up before I wet the bed. I don't know but I thought it would be worth writing down. Any opinions (even the rude ones!) are always welcome!

Thanks for sharing your vivid dreams here, I enjoyed the reading. Although I don't recall any wetting dreams, I can relate to having strange dreams after going through certain events. I remember, years ago, I worked for three weeks on a government project, and the night after it was finished I had a dream about being fired from the company for "engaging in unamerican activities.". It seems that people often dream about worst-case scenarios.

Thanks for sharing that, Holly. Have there ever been any occasions when you've dreamed about peeing or needing to pee and then woken up to discover you've either wet the bed or are in the process of doing? I'd be interested to know.

I can't resist asking... is a teashirt a T-shirt with tea stains on it? ;) ;) ;)

Thankyou Holly

That is a vivid dream and I liked it, In your dream you must have been very embarassed, I know I would be

Did you go to bed thinking about pee or did you have one to many drinks

Thanks for your replies. I think that some dreams may be well be a sub conscious fears of worst case scenarios but also what is weird is that in my dream I did something I rarely do in real life, which is to actually to admit that I need the loo! I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I did wet the bed once on holiday a couple of years ago and it was very embarrassing because we had to put the mattress on the balcony to dry whilst we went to breakfast...but I didn't dream it was happening. I just woke up wondering if I had been sweating at night although our room was cold with air conditioning and found to my horror...... well... but that was the last time.

Pippyspot......I think I had one too many drinks! :whistling

lol Ger. Really......I'd never wear anything with a stain on it! ;)

my stab at what the dream means ( obv. note this is just my opinion )...

i guess it isnt that interesting interpretation...but i think it represents a theme most people dream about , which is a desire to have more control over yourself.. a desire to be free, okay and coping in all situations..which of course can be achieved by being able to cope with a worst-case scenario.

not very interesting really...especially as i didn't mention wee-wee or knickers

Naughty naughty Holly

Bobbyjo,

I find if I go to bed thinking freely I am more likely to have the "pee dream" but luckily don't end up wet

I've definitely dreamed about wetting the bed and woken up to find that I had! :tucool:

Interesting Dream Holly, but I wouldn't read too much into it. It sounds like you've been working hard and your brain was just sifting through your memories. And the fact that you did actually need the toilet just got wrapped up in things. Nice to read about all the same!:)

A freind of mine once went out on a date, and got very drunk. When she went to bed that night, she had a dream where she was desperate for the loo, and running down a long corridor to find it. The corridor kept increasing in length, but eventually she managed to get into the bathroom, and sit on the loo. She woke up just as she finished wetting the bed! The guy who she was on the date with, (3rd date, first time she'd slept with him!!) was not impressed, as it was his bed! The relationship didn't last much longer than that. Silly Boy!

You know we like reading about your dreams, Holly.

That was a great one. And how fortunate for you that this time you woke up dry. I mean, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have minded in the least if you'd woken up wet - but I guess you deserve to hace the luck run your way from time to time! LOL

I had 'the pee dream' once. This was years ago now though.

I dreamed that I was a scientist being given a tour of a big new laboratory with a couple of colleagues. We were shown into one room and in it was a toilet surrounded by machinery. The guy giving the tour explained that this was their latest development. When you peed in this toilet it could tell you what you'd eaten and if you were ill it'd tell you what was wrong with you. (Don't ask me I only dreamed it lol)
Anyway, to demo it he picked up this potty full of pee (all the machinery had vanished and we were in a plain white room with just the toilet and a table) and started to slowly pour it into the bowl from as high as he could reach. (sadistic bastard :D)
Up to this point I hadn't been aware of any need to pee but suddenly I was hit by this terrible urge to pee and I had to bend over with my hands pressed to my crotch to avoid pissing myself. (I was dressed in an open white labcoat, a red polo-neck sweater and black trousers and black high heels)
Then he flushed it and my need got so bad that I just couldn't hold it and I started to pee through my trousers on to the floor. I was vaguely aware of the toilet saying "All normal" and I woke up.
I was absolutely soaked and before I could move I began to pee again, it was like I couldn't move, I could feel it spraying out of the panties I'd worn to bed and running along the matress up my back.
Eventually I stopped and I lay there for a minute or so to recover then I got up and changed the bedclothes. It was almost time for me to go to work anyway so I jumped in the shower.

This hapened before I realy discovered my love of wetting and I was quite ashamed at the time. Now it's one of my favourite fantasies. It had never hapened before and sadly it's never happened since.

Oooh, missed this while I was away for a long weekend! ;)

Well, if you're not going to puddle the floor at work for real, a vivid dream is the next best thing! :tu: And a hell of a sight less trouble for all concerned... [I'll get my g/f to turn one of the basic smilies into a blush, as we need one. That'll be easy unlike creating a whole wetting.]

Ummm... as for my interpretation, first question, did you eat nything before bed which might trigger dreaming? Old wives tales talk about cheese, but things that make various (mildly) brain-altering chemicals on breakdown, like chocolate, would be more likely. Assuming that you were good  and didn't much a chocolate bar or something, then I think your subconscious desire not to wet the bed is causing your brain to give you a vivid dream to wake you up before you have an accident.

Look on the bright side: this way, you 'enjoy' the vivid wetting :D yet don't leave you're partner in an embarassing puddle! :p I'd settle for that!!! ;)

Golden Phoenix. Have you ever thought of drinking too much deliberately before bed as a means of achieving the desired result?

Yeh, I've tried but I always wake up and once I'm awake I seem to 'lock up' and I can't go.

Someday, maybe during exam week I'll pull an all-night revision session and then drink a load of water before I go to bed the next night. I should be so tired I don't wake up.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your replies. Another dream I've had is walking down a corridor in this old building (it looks a bit like offices I used to work in a few years ago when I was temping) I'm dying for the loo and I see the sign. I walk in only to find it's a cupboard...... not a loo!!! Yes really! Has anyone else had that dream before?

Hi holly,
something That I didn't hunderstand. When you waked up were you wet or dry?
If you were wet when you awaked, it's because your subconcious were working as you were awaked, if you weren't it's because your R.E.M wasn't at the time and you awaked at the time to make a wee.
When did you awaked?
The R.E.M (Rapid Eye Movement) begin work 90 minutes after you close your eyes, it means your yet conscious at the time and even you were dreaming, when you felt that you had too pee you wake up and went to pee at the bathroom.
