Thanks for the most fantastic welcome, (Not).!!
After making a mistake in my first ever posting, and having it deleted, Those who read it of course. I think people have already made up their minds on the kind of person I am, Without ever giving me a chance.

On wanting to share my experiences with other like minded people, I will now continue to wet in private... and enjoy it alone..

With that I will leave you all.

I'm not sure i follow what's going on here but i don't think you should leave.
One mistake doesn't make you a bad person, but if a post shouldn't be here then the moderators will remove it. It's happened to all of us at one time or another.
Noe of us has 'made up our mind' what kind of person you are, we haven't even been able to get to know you yet.

Please stay.

Yasmin,

I honestly don't understand this - you are welcome here, and I can't see that anyone has said otherwise!

Maybe you have kept all this inside you and it feels strange to discuss it with people, but you are among friends here!

I'm confused. Your post, "Hello", is still there.

Did I miss a staff meeting or something? What's the problem? I haven't seen anything from you Yasmin that I don't like or that would upset anyone here. I was just reading about your first wetting a minute ago and thinking of replying. Or is this one of those "I'm leaving, but really I'll be around in secret to see if people ask me not to leave!" type things?

You don't make it very clear for people like me, who haven't logged in for a few days, what the problem is.

Peace! :welcome:

I removed it and sent a polite private message welcoming her to the Board :welcome: and inviting her to post again having removed the reference against the Board guidelines.

I think the problem is that she hasn't picked up the private message (I asked for a receipt and have not received one). :( I can only hope that she reads the explanation provided at the time of the action.

As Kate alludes to, there is nothing more that can be done in such circumstances. :bang:

Hi Yasmin and welcome to the Board.

Unfortunately I have had to delete your post as it describes a wetting [description of problem] for posting on the Board. Please have a look at the guidelines for posting: Guidelines

Assuming that [reference to problem], you may want to consider posting that experience again but without mentioning [reference to problem]. Then nobody will know!

[Edited by WT to remove explicit references to problem. Sky had deleted the post for this reason, but the thread makes no sense without it. Hope this is OK now. I also removed the reference from Sky's deletion comments as they themselves made the issue visible, at least to moderators!]

WT,

Are you aware of how many smileys you are using these days! Pippy has a long list of new ones on her site, if you feel in need of some extra ones:twisted:

I always did, David! :whistling

If Sky wants to make more available, he can copy them from Pippy's (with permission of course). However, I think that ought to be lower priority than filming and editing photoshoots and movies and running webcams! :tucool:

I'm going to get my g/f to do a blushing one as that will be easy and we needed it recently... (if and when added, this will become a proper blush!!!)

Who would he ask for permission? Did Pippy make those smileys? And even if she did, I doubt the Supreme Court would entertain the case! :p

Kate love, I think it's called good manners. Also in view of the recent court ruling in connection with Prince Charles's diaries (that his copyright had been breached even though he'd freely and not altogether wisely circulated copies) proves, if proof were needed, that just about anything can happen.

"And now over to the High Court in London, where I understand there have been dramatic developments in the so-called watersports smilies case - Jane!"

"John - Yes indeed! The day started with legal evidence which seemed to center on whether one particular smiley showed a scene of urination, or simply the act of spilling an orange drink. Next we heard evidence from both the defendants, Kate xxxxx, and a mysterious figure known only as "Skymouse". Legal rules prevent us disclosing their real names."

"If you remember, the plaintif, one Pippyspot, shocked the court yesterday by wetting herself in front of the judge, who promptly cleared the court for a clean-up. Well today, the defendant Kate xxxxx did exactly the same thing, and moreover, "Skymouse" pulled out a camera and photographed the whole scene..... John"

"Jane - Thanks for that. Shocking scenes today in the High Court, and now to sport...."

What do you get if you cross  with :whoops: ?! :?
Why, http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/487113/blush.gif of course! :claphigh:

I hope that Sky will add this as

Many thanks to my g/f for the effort. I thought that it would be quite simple, but the existing smilies are slightly different sizes and have completely different palettes! Little did I realise that you have to sort that out before they can have a baby... :whistling

Now that she has shown me how, I may add a pair of wet panties to :moon: (if the palette can accommodate enough extra colours) but no promises! :o

Pippyspot has found what I think is a better a better blush (thanks!): http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/487113/blushp.gif

WT,

I don't understand all this talk of palettes. If each smiley is an animated GIF, surely each one has an individual palette of 256 colours:confused:

Your gf seems so into all this - can't you persuade her to take the plunge and try a wetting!

David

nice smiley!

i get a goatee when i blush too

WT
Fri, 24 Mar 06, 1:55 AM
Correct, David. That's exactly the problem: each one has a palette of 256 colours (actually, one is restricted to 16, but the same principle applies). The two ****ing palettes don't contain the same colours though!!! :bang:

And my g/f is quite content for me to have fun with this, and will help me to do so... because then she doesn't have to participate! :nono:

Grant
Fri, 24 Mar 06, 7:48 PM
I thought there were only 255 different colours in a colour palette of smilies. Hexadecimal colour numbers go up to 255 - why do you think there are 256 smilies available?

Grant.

Okay, silly me. Did a bit of research... "A colour palette is simply a selection of colours (256 in the case of an 8-bit system) from all the possible colours (typically around 16 million) that is available to the image." :whistling

WT
Sat, 25 Mar 06, 12:42 AM
Actually Grant, you are accidentally right! Although there are 256 colour settings available, there is a funny little feature used to make transparent backgrounds and, by using it not to repaint non-changing pixels, compress animated GIFs. One of those colours is used as a code for transparent and not its own colour, leaving... 255 genuine colors, of which two had better be pure white and black or weird things happen. LOL!

I see Pippy has a peeing amilie now, so I had better get on with the wet panties one! :p

WT,

Seeing as though we are descending into arcane details here, surely your gf would import the GIF images into Paint Shop Pro (or whatever), and this would translate into 24-bit colour. Then when she saved the result as a GIF, the system would automatically generate a fresh palette - where is the problem?

David

WT
Sat, 25 Mar 06, 4:46 PM
When you import the GIFs into PSP, each keeps its associated palette. Try to merge them without first creating a merged palette and migrating to it and PSP tries to convert the colours in one to the nearest colours in the other. As these are special images with only the colours they need (yellows in one, reds in the other), that goes very wrong and the result is unrecognisably bad! For example, all shades of red were rendered as a uniform cream. The result was a cream version of the black cat in the coal cellar at midnight...

Just reformat each frame of each *.gif and start from scratch.

... no, wait... I don't know what I'm talking about, lol! Gifs are not my thing :p

DavidEngland99
Sat, 25 Mar 06, 10:25 PM
WT,Kate,

Surely you just convert your images to 24 colour before you start to work on them. If you save them in GIF format, PSP will create a fresh palette at that point.

OK - I don't mess with images much because my artistic abilities are -10, but I think it works like that!

***K! :bang:

Oh dear. Tried all that (pretty much) and somehow my wetting knickers smiley managed to 'optimise' itself to death, lose the pee stream and muddy the wet patch! It will be a while before I can do it again. Meanwhile, here is the resulting mess (based on moon of course :moon: ): http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/487113/panties.gif

(To g/f: "Help!" :whistling )

PS You can just see the puddle growing on the floor, though!

PPS I'll move this to Off Topic in a day or so.

Thanks pippy, and also for mailing me what I think is a better blush that you found: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-11/487113/blushp.gif

I'll ask Sky to use this one, but will probably wait until I have had another go at wetting. After all my hassles, I think I will start with an empty image and standard palette and try to create the wetting smiley from scratch, to take Kate's suggesiton to its ultimate extent. Not yet though...

Ooooh... I can see you starting to tap your foot! Does that mean you need a wee or are getting impatient!? :p Heee, hee!

Seriously, I have PMed Sky asking him to add pippy's blush as  (if it shows a smilie just before this, then he has done so). I hope to get some of my g/f's attention on the wetting (and maybe pee stream) smilies under development after Easter...
