Ashleigh's show - change of date

Unfortunately, I have just received news from Ashleigh McKenzie that she has a family emergency and cannot do tonight's webcam.

I have therefore moved her show to next week, in place of Tammie Lee's show (which, coincidentally, has itself had to be moved to August, as Tammie Lee encountered a problem with that date).

There will therefore again, sadly, be no webcam tonight. I will announce replacement shows as soon as possible to make up for the two we have missed.

Unfortunately, on both of these occasions, there was just insufficient time to organise a replacement. Most of my models are not local and not available at very short notice, and these problems are intensified on a weekend. We had a photo shoot booked with Ashleigh today in addition to the webcam, and we will be doing that next week as well as the webcam.

Please accept my apologies for the repeated inconvenience, and be assured that I am working hard to minimise (and compensate for) disruptions.

No one is blaming you Sky, but when these situations occur how about offering an unedited webcam download from a previous show to keep us going! I realise that this might take time but it's better than a vacuum.

You beat me to it, as I am planning to do just that, as a bonus video this week.

I'm also working to create an "emergency" system for these situations. We will be able to stream classic webcams from the past so if anyone connects, they will still have something to watch, without even having to download.

Sadly I still have work to do to make it work properly (basically, I have to prepare the files in the right format to be re-streamed, and it's not complicated but is time-consuming and also has to wait until I have added my next batch of new disks).

Once the new emergency system is ready, I will announce dates of "test transmissions" so we can see if it all works properly.

That's great, Sky. Speaking for myself, if you still have copies I would love to see a repeat of the shows from some of the fondly remembered stars of the past e.g. Wendy, Helen, Jo May, Tiffany etc. And how about the first ever desperation special with Nicky O - that was a classic! And Yes, I have been a member for that long!

Meanwhile, I'm planning the bonus webcam highlight clip for this week; sorry it has taken a bit longer than I earlier said.
